A collection of designer gifts for everyone on your list, even yourself!
I fell in love with Alphonse Mucha’s art years ago. The stunning use of sinuous line and his exquisite, delicate color schemes make his designs unique. Influenced by the use of line in Japanese prints, line became fundamental in creating his personal style.
Many of Mucha’s works concentrate on beautiful images of women in soft, flowing robes, they are sensuous, yet at the same time they have an air of innocence that reminds us of Pre-Raphaelite paintings.
Born in Moravia, Mucha was a fervent supporter of the creation of a Slavic nation and Moravian folklore influenced many details of his work. He was also influenced by the wave of popularity of magic and the occult at the end of the 19th Century, many magic symbols are found in his designs.
If you or someone you know loves Mucha as I do, something with one of his designs is a perfect gift.
